The historic Otis. T. Barnes Scout Cabin is a unique resource for Scout Troops, Cub Scout Packs, and the community of Westchester County. The Bronxville Boy Scout Cabin facility is located on Midland Avenue in the Village of Bronxville, New York.
The Village of Bronxville has a long tradition of Scouting. Bronxville Scouting units are chartered by the Boy Scouts of America (BSA), and are members of the Greater Hudson Valley Council.
The Scout Troops and Cub Scout Packs of Bronxville have maintained the finest scouting organizations in the nation and have guided young boys and girls from Bronxville, Eastchester, Tuckahoe, Larchmont, Mamaroneck, New Rochelle, Yonkers, and Mt. Vernon to be leaders and outstanding members of the local, national, and global community.
Scouting plays an important role in our nation and the world. Each president of the United States from Howard Taft to Joseph Biden has served as honorary president of the Boy Scouts of America. Of interest, John F. Kennedy, the 35th president of the United States, was a member of Troop 2, Bronxville, and started his scouting journey and legacy of service at the Bronxville Boy Scout Cabin.
The Bronxville Scout Committee is chartered to maintain the cabin and facilities in support of scouting and the community. Consider making a tax-deductible donation to support the Bronxville Boy Scout Cabin and our fine young Scouts. The Bronxville Scout Committee is a 501(c)(3) not-for profit organization.
